Won't a winder wear out my mainspring?

Modern automatic watches have a slipping clutch mechanism built into the mainspring barrel. Once the mainspring reaches full tension, additional rotor movement from the winder simply causes the mechanism to slip instead of tightening the spring further.

Is it really silent?

Yes. The motor and internal chamber are tuned for quiet rooms, with measured operation below a whisper at normal distance.

Do I need the app to use it?

No. POND works with physical controls, while the app unlocks scheduling, live status, LED control, and saved watch profiles.

Which watches is it compatible with?

It supports most automatic watches through adjustable TPD, winding direction, and rest-cycle settings.
